The Academy of Health Professions is a two year program that emphasizes the foundation that is necessary for entrance into a variety of medical professions. Offering a combination of academic and hands on skills, the student is well prepared for college and career.
Students who attend this program have the ability to achieve the following certificates
1. AHA First Aid
2. AHA Healthcare Provider CPR
3. Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
4. Geriatric Nursing Assistant (GNA)
5. Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA)
Program completes are eligible for 5 articulated college credits through the College of Southern Maryland
